Working with the scanner and with the position statuses in the "Movement of articles" block is as follows:

    1)     At the initial stage, it is assumed that an employee with a scanner in his hand is next to the equipment that he has assembled, guided by the inventory list, at a certain starting point in the warehouse. Please note that the browser window with the corresponding page of the GOLOVA website.IO should be active at this moment (!);

       2)     Click on the scan start icon (the symbol in the upper right corner of the "Movement of articles" block, next to the button to switch between the "Kanban" and "Table" modes);

       3)      In the scanner settings window that appears next, change the value of the "Status" item from "turned off" to "included";

       4)     In the menu that opens after that, select the sub-item "assignment SKU number" in the "Action" item.

And in the "Current status" item, select the name of the status that you created, as the very first one from which you start organizing shipments. It corresponds to the place where the equipment is currently assembled, and where the employee with the scanner is located (in the example in the illustration, this status is called "in progress");

       5) By scanning the barcodes on the devices, the employee assigns the articles to the items on the inventory list. When the scan is completed, all items will be in the field of the very first status, and each item will have its own article. Now, anyone who has access to the "Warehouse" section, looking at the "Movement of articles" block, understands that all the equipment of the project is assembled at the starting point.

Next, it's time to move the devices to the next part of your warehouse, which corresponds to the new stage of shipment preparation. This can be either, for example, a warehouse lobby where kits from different rooms are assembled, or a table for external inspection – in other words, a new control point;

       6)     Before moving the equipment to this new area, you should change the status of the devices in the "Movement of articles" block to the one that corresponds to it. To do this, set the value of the "Action" item to "transfer to another status" in the scanner settings window.

At the same time, in the "New status" item, select the name of the desired status from the names of the statuses you created earlier (in the screenshot, this second status is called "sent out").

Next, click on "Save";

Now, scanning the same barcodes on the same devices will transfer their positions in the "Movement of articles" block from the field of the first status to the field of the second.

Please note that if in paragraph 4 in the "Actions" column you select not just "assignment of the article", but "assignment and translation of the article", paragraphs 5 and 6 will merge into one action. Then, the assignment of the article position and its transfer to the next status field can be carried out in one scan step instead of two;

       7)     The warehouse staff delivers the devices to a new location corresponding to the status that you have just assigned to the positions of these devices (see paragraph 6);

       8)     Next, repeat paragraphs 6 and 7, as many times as the control points (and their corresponding statuses) are provided by you in the process of preparing the shipment of equipment, the shipment itself, and then returning the devices to the shelves of your warehouses.
