This subsection contains the options for configuring the "Catalog" section of your company.
Sorting
"By name" means alphabetical sorting. With this method, the sorted positions are fixed in their places – they can neither be moved through the catalog tree with the mouse, nor grouped.
Sorting "By positioning" is much more flexible. The user sets the order of the location here himself, and the positions can be dragged between the folders of the catalog manually.
The method of sorting catalog items selected here will then be applied in the estimate as well.
Ed. ed. (for the entire catalog)
Here you set the unit of measurement in which the catalog items will be calculated by default when you view it.
If you have just started using our system, you can select this unit from the preset starter kit: "pcs" (pieces), "sq.m." (square meters) and "shifts".
If you need to use units that are not included in the starter kit in the catalog, you can create them yourself in the "Units of measurement" subsection of your Catalog database.
Article – prefix, Article – postfix
Setting up these two items will allow you to create unique item names for your devices. The uniqueness of names can be critically important when interacting with other service user companies GOLOVA.IO . By creating unique names, you and your partners will avoid confusion and technical problems that will surely arise if the names of articles from your catalog accidentally match the names in the catalogs of your business colleagues.
In addition, by creating an article name, you can encrypt some data of a specific device in it (for example, its type), which will significantly speed up and simplify work for you and your staff in the warehouse and in the catalog. For example, in the name of the article "C500602", the letter "C" can mean "lighting equipment".
