To be able to generate real documents based on templates for a specific project, you need to combine the templates you need into a package.
To create a package, you need to:
1) Go to the main page of the "Documents Database" section and click "Add";
2) In the "Add a package of documents" page that opens, fill in the "Basic information" block:
- come up with and enter the name of the package being created in the appropriate field;
- in the field below, select the one of your companies (if you have several of them) to which the package you are creating will belong. When generating documents, the data of this particular company will be substituted for variables in all templates of the package;
- if necessary, fill in the comments field;
- click "Add".
3) In the "Documents included in the package" block that appears on the right side of the window, click .
Select the first template from the list that opens, which will be included in the package being created.
Specify whether this template is the main one in the package or not (the name of the main document will be used to form the name of the contract, which will appear in all documents generated using the package). Click "Add";
4) Next, in the manner described in the previous paragraph, add all other document templates that will make up the new package (note that the package may consist of only one template);
5) Edit, if necessary, using the buttons, and the resulting list of package templates after adding.
Click "Save".
If you now go to the "Documents" section of a project and click "+" in the leftmost part of this section, you will see that the package you just created has appeared in the list that opens.
From now on, everything is ready to generate a set of documents for any of your projects using this new package.
