Setting up the (main) columns of the inventory list

The main columns of the inventory list table contain information about the equipment involved in the project, sufficient to quickly find this equipment, prepare it for shipment to the event, and then return it back to the warehouse.

Creating columns and their values

If you are at the very initial stage of configuration, and there is not a single column in your table yet, then you can create one by clicking on the word "add". It is highlighted in blue and is located in the header of the block on the right.

Next, the following window will open:

1

Here you enter the name of the new column. For example, "Equipment name". This is how the warehouse staff will read it to them when they receive the warehouse statement. After entering the name, click on the "Add" button.

After that, the row with the name of the new column will appear in the settings block.

1

Now you need to set the value (the name of the device, its manufacturer, or its model), which will be shown in the newly created column of the table. To do this, click on the "plus" icon, which is located immediately below the line with the name of the new column to the left of the word "Value".

1

In the window that opens, select the desired value option, and click on the "Add" button:

1

There may be a situation when you need to put several values in one column at once. For example, the name of the device, and immediately after it, its manufacturer, followed by the model. Then the contents of the table field will look something like this: "Pioneer C DJ - 2000NXS DJ player". To do this, click the same "plus" to the right of the word "value" as many times as you need to show the values in the new column. After each click, you will need to select which value you currently want to add to the column (name, manufacturer, model) and click "Add":

1

In the way just described, you can actually create and configure as many columns as your production needs require.

Now, to commit the changes, click on the "Save" button.

1

After completing the process, it is advisable to make sure that everything was done correctly. To do this, open any project, and in its "Specification" section, in the "Print" block, click on the "Preview" button.

As you can see from this screenshot, the created columns have been added to the inventory list, and they reflect the data you need.

Editing columns and values

In the settings block that we are currently considering, at the right end of the row with the name of each column, there are icons and, which allow you to delete or edit this column accordingly.

1

To delete and edit the values contained in the columns, there are the same icons and at the right end of each row with the name of the value.

1

Clicking on the symbol activates the mode for editing the order of columns and values (the symbol itself, when the mode is active, acquires a light golden color):

1

This way you can arrange the values and columns in the order you need by dragging them with the mouse. When the required order is reached, click on it again so that this symbol turns black again. Which will mean the termination of the editing mode. Next, by clicking on "Save", we enter into force the changes we have just made.
