The filters mentioned here are a set of buttons that are located in the "Calendar" section directly above the event field. By clicking on these buttons, you can set which types of events to show in the calendar and which ones not.
Please note that the 4 rightmost buttons in the row ("Transport", "Timer", "Schedule", "Tasks") serve other purposes, and do not apply to the filters described here.
If necessary, you can achieve a situation where the buttons of several filters are pressed simultaneously. By default, if some filter is already activated, the filter that we add next will filter out among those events that remained in the calendar after the activation of the first filter.
Note that the "Projects" filter, unlike all others, acts in the opposite way to the principle described above. When you click the appropriate button, it does not filter out anything, but adds projects to the number of visible calendar items. When the button of this filter is pressed, projects are not shown in the calendar.
To create and configure a new filter, you need to click the word "Add" here in the global settings (it is located in the header of the block, to the right of the header, and highlighted in blue).
Next, the "Add Calendar Filters" window will appear:
It has the following sixteen fields:
Name
Enter the name of the filter in this field.
Status
This field allows you to filter calendar events by their statuses.
So, for example, in order to see in the calendar only projects whose estimates have reached the status of "Reservation", it would be logical to create a filter "Projects with armor". To do this, when setting up the filter, here, in the "Status" field, we will set the value "Reservation".
Please note that when creating a filter, you can select several statuses at the same time.
Type of payment
After configuring this field in the filter, it will become available to us, if necessary, to see in the calendar only projects that are paid by cash, or vice versa, only those that are paid in cash.
Account
This field has three values: "paid", "not fully paid", and "not paid". Using them when setting up filters, you will later be able to get an idea of what payment phase your projects are in with one click and without leaving the calendar page.
My company and Counterparty
These two fields allow you to set up a filter showing which of your contractors and firms are using to implement a particular project.
Client, Site, Manager, Foreman and Pickup
By selecting the values of these five fields, you get the opportunity to filter the contents of the calendar by them. The filter in which some of the listed items are activated will be checked against the data that you previously entered in the "Information" section of each of the previously created projects.
Employees involved
By selecting a specific person from the list of your staff here, and applying the filter created in this way, you will see in the calendar only the events in which this employee participates. Moreover, here you can specify both one employee and several – the filter will be applied to the entire group of employees at once.
Duration and Cost
These two fields allow you to indicate the financial and time frames of events displayed after filtering in the calendar.
The filter is available
By adjusting the contents of this field, we specify which employees will be able to use this filter.
Group ID
Let's return to the situation described earlier, when we activated two filters sequentially. If they both have the same group ID - that is, they belong to the same filter group – then their actions on calendar events are sequentially superimposed on one another, as described above.
If both filters belong to different filter groups (i.e. they have different group IDs), then the action of the one whose button you pressed does not complement the second one, but cancels the action of the filter activated earlier.
