GOLOVA MOBILE APP

     1.     Installation and Setup

Download the Golova app from the App Store and install it on your mobile device.

Next, allow access to the camera — this is required for the barcode scanner to function.

Tap Select domain to open the settings. Then, enter your account address (domain-name.golova.io) and select the interface language.

After saving the settings, you will be taken to the login page. Once you enter your login and password, you will be directed to the homepage of your account.

     2.     Top Menu

The top menu of the homepage contains:

  • The account address displayed at the top center — tapping it opens the app settings (account and language);
  • The application menu bar just below contains: Projects, Information, and the User menu (represented by a circle with three dots). The user menu allows you to view which user is currently logged in, log out, and switch between light and dark themes.

This version of the app is intended for warehouse staff, so it only displays projects in which the Warehouse section has already been activated.

     3.     Information Page

This page allows you to find and edit SKU cards (if the user has editing rights). Two search methods are available:

  • Manual search — if a SKU has no barcode but its number is known, it can be entered manually;
  • Camera scanner — selecting this method and pointing the camera at the barcode will automatically open the SKU card.

This section also supports uploading photos to the SKU card, using the mobile device's camera.

     4.     Projects Page

This page becomes visible when the Projects icon is selected in the main menu.

It allows you to filter the project list by day, week, month, or year. You can search by project name or project number. Results are displayed as project cards.

The project name and the status indicators of the Estimate and Specification are interactive — tapping on them opens more details.

     5.     Working Within a Project

The Movement section in the project contains everything needed to manage shipping.

Display options are available: enable or disable grouping of equipment by folders and tabs (if the project is split into multiple sheets). You can also view the scanner log and a general log of all shipping-related actions.

Once you start the shipping process (using the Play button), the following become active:

  • Fields for equipment actions (assigning SKUs, changing status, etc.);
  • Scanning methods: manual input, RFID, phone camera (here you can also activate a Bluetooth scanner connected to the tablet);
  • Buttons to: assign random SKUs; mark a unit as lost or faulty; move equipment to another project;
  • Manual shipping checkboxes (select checkboxes next to one or several SKUs, then tap Move).

     6.     Permission Restrictions

The Golova app respects the user permissions granted by the system administrator by restricting access to certain information and actions.

For example, if a user is not granted access to edit the catalog, then when they scan a SKU, the Edit button will be unavailable in the app, and the related fields will appear inactive (grayed out).
